Meet Mrs. Salerno

This is my fifteenth year teaching elementary school and my thirteenth year in Boxford! I started off at Spofford Pond teaching fourth grade for four years and I am in my ninth year at Cole in the second grade.

I have a lot of fun coming to work everyday and I love teaching and working with children. I find it very rewarding that I get to spend a whole year watching a group of children interact, grow and gain so many foundational skills they will take with them as they prepare to move on to Spofford Pond and beyond!

I grew up in Danvers and went on to complete my undergraduate degree at Boston College and my masters at Lesley University. I now live in Salisbury with my husband, Jeff, and six year old son, Harrison, who keeps us very busy! We love playing outside, heading to the beach or park and building Legos for hours and hours! I love being a mom and have truly enjoyed watching my son begin to navigate his world and all of the learning that takes place for us all each and everyday. Harrison starts kindergarten this fall and he is very excited to catch up to my 2nd graders!
